WEDNESDAY CLASS CHANGES

From Wednesday 5th March, we will be altering the times of the class.

Beginners will be from 6.45pm – 7.45pm (please arrive from 6.35pm)

Improvers will be from 7.45pm – 8.45pm

Intermediates will be from 8.45pm – 9.45pm

The reason behind the change is that we now have such a lovely, big beginners class, it’s starting to feel overcrowded at the end of the first hour. We have, therefore, decided that, from 5th March, we will no longer be doing floor splits at the end of the beginners’ session. Instead, the first hour will be beginner dances only, followed by a full hour of improver dances.

The class will still be one price for the whole evening so, if you are a beginner who has reached the stage of wanting to go a bit further with your dancing, you are very welcome to stay on for the first couple of dances of the improver session.

The price will remain at £5 for the foreseeable future and we hope that these changes will give all levels of dancers more of what they need, as well as alleviate the overcrowding at the end of the first hour.

Welcome to the website for the Steps 'n' Stetsons Line Dance Club. We are a friendly club based in the Reading and Wokingham areas of Berkshire with classes at the Crescent Centre in Lower Earley and at the Winnersh Community Hall. Our dancers range from 10 to 80+ years. We teach complete beginners up to intermediate level dancers. We dance to a broad range of music and have day time and evening classes.

We hold socials and tea dances, go on weekends away together and meet as a group at other local line dance socials. We are back to normal with weekends away and socials. Please see the latest Newsletter or the Calendar for details.
